Two artists originally from Pt. Pleasant, WV have brought their work to the Capitol city in a show called Visions. Photographer Jesse Thornton met painter Larry Bragg while doing an exhibit at Gallery 409 in Pt. Pleasant. The two quickly became friends and have collaborated in a few pieces. Larry’s painting is based on Jesse’s photograph from Blackwater. Stop by this Thursday during ArtWalk and check it out!
Using the preferred mediums of oils, acrylics, pen and inks, Larry Bragg creates paintings of landscapes and intimate details bringing the beauty and wonderment of places he’s visited to those who come to view his works.
A self described avid explorer, student of the sciences and dreamer, Jesse Thornton's photography showcases the state of West Virginia. Thornton has a particular fondness for the night sky and this is reflected in his current works.
